In a theatre

The best seats in a theater for an Orchestra show vary from theater to theater. The best seats are found in the first few rows. But if you are short, make sure to avoid seats in central parts of the orchestra. This way, you'll be blocked from an angled view. You may also want to consider choosing a seat near an aisle instead of in the center of the orchestra. As for the acoustics, the seats under the mezzanine or balcony overhang may be less than ideal.

FAQ

Why is Hollywood so famous?

D.W. Griffith founded the first film industry in California in 1887. It was named for its Los Angeles location, also known as Hollywood at that time.

It was an exciting place to visit and the name stuck. People came from all parts of the country to see what was going on there.

Hollywood is still a big part of our culture. We have movies and television shows, music videos, commercials and so on. These are all known as Hollywood.

Why isn't there more crowdfunding sites such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter for filmmakers?

Crowdfunding sites are great because they allow you to reach out directly to potential investors.

Most filmmakers don’t believe they have the right to ask for money. They feel that they need someone else to vouch for them.

Even though they aren't yet proven to be themselves, they don't believe that anyone should put money into them.

Instead, they spend months working hard on their project in the hope that someone will notice.

They realized that they hadn't prepared properly when they launched their campaign.

Instead of receiving thousands upon thousands of dollars, the recipients end up with a handful donations.

What is the difference of a producer and distributor?

The movie is created by a producer. The movie is distributed via a distributor. Distributors and theaters are two options for producers to sell their movies. Distributors acquire movies from producers. They then sell them on to theaters or cable channels, as well as streaming services.

Distributors should negotiate with theater owners regarding where their movies are playing. This can mean that different theaters may charge different prices for a movie. You should select a distributor that has multiple theaters if you want your movie seen as much as possible.
