The Dumbest Celebrity Tweets

celebrities who support amber heard

You may have seen some the most ridiculous celebrity tweets in social media. You've probably seen Chris Brown's Twitter spat with Teyana Tayor or Ryan Lochte's tweet about his Microsoft Surface. These tweets may not be intelligent but they are funny. Look at these examples and you will be amazed at the dumbness of their tweets.

Drunk tweets

Drunken Twittering is a new high-wire act. Even Anna Kendrick has admitted to mixing Twitter and alcohol to make sure her tweets go up to par. Although celebrities may wait until the morning to double check drunk tweets, others hire a PR company to help them manage their accounts. Adele is reported to have consulted two editors prior to sending her drunk tweets.

Eight themes were identified in tweets about drinking: The celebrity who is an alcoholic, the celebrity who has a drinking problem and music about drinking, sex and attraction. The most popular topic in these tweets was drinking. This is not surprising considering the celebrity popularity of alcohol. Although this study is limited to tweets related to alcohol, it highlights the importance and impact of social media on our daily lives.

Unintelligent tweets

Below is a collection of hilarious and dumb tweets from Hollywood's top stars. While this isn't a complete list of tweets, it was compiled based upon a few criteria. Although celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone and Tom Cruise are not included on this list, there are still some funny moments in their tweets.

Chris Brown's twitter beef with Teyana Ayor

While the two have been friends for many years, Rihanna's recent tweet referring to Teyana's sexy style is the latest twist. The singer seems to have taken offense at Teyana’s comments. She then started a Twitter row with Rihanna. Teyana, despite Rihanna getting involved, has remained silent. Although she may have fallen prey to Rihanna's vitriolic vitriol, her fans doubt that.

Rihanna hasn't responded to Rihanna's most recent tweet, but she's been busy promoting her upcoming fall collection with MAC Cosmetics. Her ill-timed tweets have already drawn harsh criticism. While Rihanna may not have been the victim of Teyana’s insults, she has been standing up for Chris Brown through her own actions.

Ryan Lochte's tweet about his Microsoft Surface

Ryan Lochte's twitter account was different after the 2012 Olympics. The swimmer had embraced the "sex idiot" persona that he had made famous by portraying himself on the TV show 30 Rock. In a tweet about his Microsoft Surface, he promised to release a new song if his tweet got a hundred thousand retweets. This was a disappointing turn of affairs, both for fans and critics. Olympic swimmer was also accused, by some, of devaluing their reputation using equipment that was not even his.

Mark Adams (IOC director of communications) denies that Lochte’s tweet concerning his Microsoft Surface led him to be arrested. Lochte's Twitter post about the incident that allegedly took his Microsoft Surface away is inaccurate and should have been deleted. Bentz, through the University of Georgia, released a statement that confirms the new version of the incident. Bentz said that security guards with guns ordered four men to sit at the curb and demand they pay for their Surfaces. Lochte was not hurt and is cooperating fully with police and authorities.

How To

How to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Walk of Fame (HWOF) was established in 1960 by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The HWOF, located at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard Los Angeles, California. It is made up of 2,711 stars that are embedded in the Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk. Each star represents a person who has contributed to television, radio, theatre, music, motion pictures, or any other aspect of popular culture. The HWOF currently has 1,922 listed living people.

To become a HWOF member, you need to submit a name to Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. They then submit your details to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. After being approved, you will be issued a certificate stating your name, date and place of birth. It also includes information about your occupation, occupation and category. A bronze plaque with the name of your choice is included. This plaque is attached directly to the concrete base, in front of designated stars.

You may apply to be a star if you are nominated by a HWOF member or if you make significant contributions to television, radio, TV, theatre, music or other forms of "popular culture". A committee evaluates all nominations and then decides whether to approve them. If they decide to approve, they write a letter to the address of the applicant explaining their decision. If the person accepts, they will be sent a second letter to confirm their acceptance. The Hollywood Chamber of commerce charges $25, and then the money is sent to the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Los Angles.

The department issues a cheque payable to the Hollywood Chamber of commerce. It then sends the check the Hollywood Walk of Fame Foundation. The foundation pays any artist or organization that submitted an application. The fee is then paid to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce at $12.50. The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs pays the remainder.

Once the artist receives his/her star he/she will be eligible to be inducted into the HWOF. To be eligible for the HWOF, the artist must pay the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce any balance. The amount due will depend on when you were first nominated. For example, $15,000. Suppose you were first nominated as a nominee in 1990. For example, if your first nomination was in 1990, you would owe $15,000. However, if it had been in 1980, you would owe 10,000.

You can remove yourself from HWOF by contacting the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to pay the rest of your debt. They will remove you from the list.

How old do you have to be in order to receive a star on HWOF?

One needs to be at least 18 years old when being nominated. A person must be present at the time of receiving a star. One can still be nominated after receiving a star after ten years.

What happens if I die before my star gets put up?

Nominating you can be done by family members. If there are no known living relatives, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will place the memorial marker in front of it.

Why don't people just use a different street instead of having stars all over the place?

The HWOF is not meant to be a historical monument. It honors those who made history through film.

What happened with the stars that were stolen? Around 1,200 stars were taken by the thieves. Each star weighs approximately 250-300 pounds, which equates to 4 tons of stars.
